Mobile Media Production is designed as a 10-week spring term workshop/lab that engages 10-12 selected students in the real world production of video stories for distribution via an emerging array of mobile devices. The class will align with Northwest-based writers and publishers to create original stories that complement and enhance an author’s written texts. Students will conceive, pitch, shoot, write, edit and present two projects during the term:
Project #1 is a Campus Project, where students will produce a 2-minute video story that profiles other SOJC students engaged in creative course and/or field work.
Project #2 is a Client Project, which will be 2-4 minute video story produced in collaboration with a prearranged Northwest-based publisher and selected authors.
